Health officials from both Michigan and Ohio are looking into 12 new E. coli cases across both states, just one day after Kroger announced a voluntary beef recall..Detroit (ChattahBox) – Health officials from both Michigan and Ohio are looking into 12 new E. coli cases across both states, just one day after Kroger announced a voluntary beef recall.

The Michigan Department of Community Health is currently looking into 8 possible new E. coli cases, while Ohio is investigating another 4.

Since the E. coli outbreak began, over 30 people have fallen ill.

It was not long ago that Kroger issues a voluntary recall of all beef products with a sell-by date between May 21 and June 8.

An investigation is ongoing to find the source.
