CDC Reports Over 200 New Cases Of Salmonella From Tomatoes

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has come out and confirmed over 200 new cases of salmonella from tainted tomatoes across the U.S..Washington (ChattahBox) – The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has come out and confirmed over 200 new cases of salmonella from tainted tomatoes across the U.S, bringing the total to 756.

The CDC has stated that the last known case was on June 13. The 200 new cases come as a result of more and more lab tests coming back positive with more people confirmed as being sickened by the salmonella tomatoes.

As of now, there have been 95 people that have had to be hospitalized with no deaths reported as of yet.

The FDA continues to look at Florida and Mexico as they try to pinpoint the source.
