Air Quality Starts To Improve In Bay Area After Rough Week

Fires across the state of California caused a forecast for several days last week of unhealthy air quality.  This are getting better though as the smoke from the fires is starting to go away, and with that, Bay Area air quality is improving....Washington (ChattahBox) – Fires across the state of California caused a forecast for several days last week of unhealthy air quality. This are getting better though as the smoke from the fires is starting to go away, and with that, Bay Area air quality is improving.

Just a few days ago, a health advisory was released, warning people in the Bay Area of unhealthy air quality.

All of those living in the area were instructed to stay inside if possible, and to avoid any type of strenuous activity.

The number of fires across the state of California topped 1,000, and were caused by a lightning storm last weekend.

Firefighters have been working to get rid of the fires and cut down on the smoke.

Saturday was the first day after a rough week that no health advisory released in regards to Bay Area locations.
