Houston Quintuplets Born 9 Weeks Early, Are Doing Well

A couple from Houston, Texas, Stephen and Ellen Howell, are the happy parents of quintuplets.  The quintuplets had to be born 9-weeks early while the couple was in Phoenix, Arizona....Washington (ChattahBox) – A couple from Houston, Texas, Stephen and Ellen Howell, are the happy parents of quintuplets. The quintuplets had to be born 9-weeks early while the couple was in Phoenix, Arizona.

The 33-year old Ellen Howell was expected to give birth in Houston this August.

Instead though, she gave birth to three girls and two boys on Saturday in Phoenix, Arizona.

The babies weighed a total of 15-pounds combined, and were born 9-weeks early.

Once delivered, the infants were placed in the neonatal intensive care unit to be watched over.

Doctors have stated that the babies are doing just fine, and appear healthy.

The quintuplets include Sidney Alun, 2 pounds, 10 ounces, Ivy Elizabeth, 2 pounds, 8 ounces, Mitchell Thomas, 2 pounds, 15 ounces, Luke Harrison, 2 pounds, 15 ounces, and Brillen Jeannette, 2 pounds, 6 ounces.

The couple will rent a house in Phoenix, Arizona until their babies can be safely taken back home.
