West Nile Virus Strikes Colorado, Two Cases Confirmed

The West Nile Virus season is certainly upon us, and has hit the state of Colorado.  The first two cases of the season have been confirmed in the state....Denver (ChattahBox) – The West Nile Virus season is certainly upon us, and has hit the state of Colorado. The first two cases of the season have been confirmed in the state.

The Colorado State Department of Public Health has confirmed the first two West Nile Virus cases of the season. One of the cases comes from a person in Boulder county, while the other is from Logan county.

According to reports, the two people who were sickened by the West Nile Virus are recovering.

These two cases will likely be the first of many cases to come in the state of Colorado.

There is no telling just yet how rough the West Nile Virus season will be this year, but officials hope to be able to predict it better in the coming weeks.
