The Labor Day weekend has not been a fun one at many beaches in New Jersey, as they have been slammed by safety concerns.

According to reports, nearly 200 syringes and other medical supplies washed ashore on the beaches in Avalon a week ago.  This forced those beaches to close for a period of time.

This weekend it happened again, as beaches in both Avalon and Ocean City has to be closed, but were re-opened later in the day Sunday.
