Number Sickened By E. Coli In Oklahoma Tops 200

Health officials in the state of Oklahoma have come out and stated that the number of cases of E. coli now stands above 200 in the state...Washington (ChattahBox) – Health officials in the state of Oklahoma have come out and stated that the number of cases of E. coli now stands above 200 in the state.

The Oklahoma Health Department released a report on Tuesday, increasing the number of people infected with E. coli in the state to 206, with 53 of them being children.

To this point, only one death has been linked to the outbreak.

The death was of a 26-year old man, Chad Ingle.

The E. coli outbreak has been traced by investigators back to the Country Cottage restaurant in Locust Grove, which has remained closed for a period of time now.
