Researchers conducted a study on a group of 179 cervical cancer survivors.

All of the women in the study had both of their ovaries removed.  It is believed that when this happens, in kills any circulation of the hormone testosterone, linked to sexual drive.

This was not the case though, as over 80% of the women, all aged 29 to 69, were sexually active.

They also found that over 90% enjoyed having sex at least some of the time.

The researchers stated that sexual satisfaction does not only rely on your hormones, as it is very mental as well.

The study has been published in the Journal of Women’s Health.
