Lung cancer rates among non-smokers around the world remains unchanged over the past half-century......Washington (ChattahBox) – Lung cancer rates among non-smokers around the world remains unchanged over the past half-century.

The international study focused its attention on over 2 million men and women.

The data came from 13 large studies, as well as 22 cancer registries from over 10 different countries around the world.

Researchers, led by Dr. Michael Thun from the American Cancer Society, found that lung cancer rates among non-smokers has been un-changed for the last 50 years or so.

Their study was published in the September issue of PLoS Medicine.
