The number of cases from the Oklahoma E. coli outbreak has now been confirmed to be at 231...........Washington (ChattahBox) – The number of cases from the Oklahoma E. coli outbreak has now been confirmed to be at 231.

The Oklahoma State Department of Health confirmed on Wednesday that the number of cases now stands at 231.

There have been several cases among older people, while 43 cases have involved children.

Over 60 people have had to be hospitalized to date, as reports state that lawsuits are likely to stem from the outbreak.

The Oklahoma E. coli outbreak has been traced back to Country Cottage restaurant in Locust Grove, where many consumed food before falling ill.

The investigation is still ongoing into the E. coli outbreak.
