A study published this week in the Journal of Applied Psychology has revealed that men who rake in the big bucks are also very sexist..............Washington (ChattahBox) – A study published this week in the Journal of Applied Psychology has revealed that men who rake in the big bucks are also very sexist.

The study attempted to look at gender attitudes of some men and women, by looking at thousands of men and women in the study.

The gender attitudes revolved around whether or not men and women believed in traditional roles for females.

A traditional role for a female, seen as sexist, would be the female staying home to cook, clean, and take care of the children.

The study interviewed thousands of men and women from 1979 ,when they were between 14 and 22-years old, and again now when they are 43 and 51-years old.

Men who were the most sexist, meaning they believed in traditional roles for women, raked in the big bucks.

These men were found to earn $11,930 more each year than men who were not sexist.

This shows a major wage gap, and also shows that men who make more money, are more likely to want their female counterpart to stay home.
