The law went into effect back in July, giving parents a safe way to abandon their children.

Under they law, they are allowed to drop off children of any age at a licensed hospital, with no explanation.

Since July though when it went into effect, 16 kids have been dropped.  Many are now calling for a change to the law, as they feel it is getting out of hand.

Half of the 16 kids that were dropped were teenagers.

Just last Friday, someone made headlines by dropping 9 kids, aged all the way up to 18, at a hospital in the state.

The push now is to change the law to limit kids that can be abandoned to only newborns, and kids one and younger.
