Levinson, inspector general of the Department of Health and Human Services, has revealed that 94% of nursing homes in the United States are in violation of federal safety and health care standards.  Which states did the worst though?

The report showed that the majority of for-profit nursing homes are in violation of health and safety standards in the U.S.

88% of not-for-profit nursing homes were also found to be in violation.

When looking at the states closely, Rhode Island did the best, with their percentage below 80%.

Some states were up at 100% though, which is quite scary.

These states include Alaska, the District of Columbia, Idaho, and Wyoming.
