The USDA has come out and urged all consumers to be sure that they follow cooking instructions of raw frozen chicken entrees.

There have been 32 people who have fallen ill due to salmonella.

These cases have been widespread, spanning across 12 states in the U.S.

All of the illnesses have been traced to consuming frozen stuffed chicken entrees that were not fully cooked.

Officials have made it clear that it is not safe to use a microwave to cook the entrees, as the chicken needs to be 165 degrees Fahrenheit internally to be ready to eat.

Symptoms of salmonella cases include diarrhea, abdominal cramps, fever.
