A new study has found that free drug samples put the health of children in grave danger..................Boston (ChattahBox) – A new study has found that free drug samples put the health of children in grave danger.

Researchers led by Dr. Sarah L. Cutrona of Harvard Medical School carried out the study by looking at data from a survey conducted by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) back in 2004.

The survey focused on health care, drug samples, etc.

Researchers found that 10%, or 1 out of every 10 U.S. children received a free drug sample in 2004.

These drug samples put their health at risk, as 500,000 kids received drug samples of drugs which were later found to have safety problems.

These drugs in question include Advair, Adderall, Strattera, as well as Elidel.

This was highly prevalent in both lower income and higher income kids.
