The annual Race for the Cure in Denver, Colorado raised $2.4 million this past weekend for breast cancer...Boston (ChattahBox) – The annual Race for the Cure in Denver, Colorado raised $2.4 million this past weekend for breast cancer.

The $2.4 million will mostly stay in the Denver area, and will go towards research, treatments, education, and advanced screening programs.

62,000 people took part in the Race for the Cure in Denver, Colorado over the weekend.

Many took part in the 5K run/walk, family walk, co-ed run/walk,e tc.

Breast cancer is responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths each year.

This is yet another example of how people are showing support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
