New York City has launched a new ad campaign in the subway system to try to get riders to pay closer attention to calories in foods..................New York (ChattahBox) – New York City has launched a new ad campaign in the subway system to try to get riders to pay closer attention to calories in foods.

New York City health officials are launching this new $82,000 ad campaign to try to educate riders.

The new ads will show riders how many calories are in certain foods.

The advertisements will be posted in 20% of the subway cars in New York City, and will stress the importance of getting a good diet of 2,000 calories each day.

The ads will also show what foods to avoid, such as burrito’s laoded with calories, and muffins.

The ad campaign will run through January.
