Govt. Says Get At Least 2 1/2 Hours Of Exercise Every Week

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has issued guidelines stating that adults need 2 1/2 hours of exercise weekly.<br /> .....Boston (ChattahBox) – The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has issued guidelines stating that adults need 2 1/2 hours of exercise weekly.

They have stated that adults should be getting 30 minutes of exercise daily, for 5 days each week.

As for kids, they are recommended to get at least 1 hour of exericse every day by running around and playing.

By taking part in this exercise, people can cut their risk of cancer, heart disease, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, depression, etc.

By following the guidelines, the overall health of adults and kids in the U.S. could be greatly improved.
