The company introduced their ovarian cancer test back in June, called OvaSure.

The test was aimed to help improve early-stage detection of ovarian cancer.

Experts were not happy with the marketing behind it though, as it is well-documented that the test is greatly unproven.

Many groups, including the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists, claim the test is still greatly unproven.

The FDA sent a previous letter to the company stating it may cause harm to the public.

This new letter states that since it is used to diagnose a disease, it is illegal to market it without FDA approval.
