The new study was conducted by Eric Stice of the Oregon Research Institute and colleagues, and followed 43 female students.

They were between the ages of 14 and 22-years old for the study.

The study aimed to see what type of role brain signals had in obesity.

What they found using a technique known as Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) was that obese people actually enjoyed food less than people of normal weight.

They have fewer dopamine receptors, which are linked to satisfaction from eating.

Since they have fewer of these receptors, they have to consume more food in order to feel satisfied.

This could explain why obese people eat so much food, because they don’t actually like food as much.

The study was published in the journal Science.
