Researchers have revealed that high nicotine dependence has hit a new height in the U.S...............Washington (ChattahBox) – Researchers have revealed that high nicotine dependence has hit a new height in the U.S.

The report was revealed at a meeting of the American College of Chest Physicians.

They have found that more people are severely dependent on nicotine.

They found a 12% increase in the severity of nicotine dependence from 1989 to 2006.  On top of that, those who were seen as highly nicotine dependent increased by 32%.

Overall, 75% of people who want to try and quit smoking are highly dependent on nicotine.

They were able to test this using a variety of methods, such as putting a cigarette next to the bed of a smoker, and seeing how long it took before he or she would light up.
