According to a new study, eating grapes can lower your blood pressure overall......................Washington (ChattahBox) – According to a new study, eating grapes can lower your blood pressure overall.

Researchers from the University of Michigan carried out the study on lab rats who were placed on an unhealthy diet high in salt.

They gave half of the rats grapes in the form of a powder, while the other half did not get any grapes.

The rats that ate the grapes had lower blood pressure overall.

They also were able to prevent heart disease, improve heart function, and prevent heart muscle damage.

This was all experienced by watching the rats over an 18-week period.

High blood pressure can lead to heart attacks, heart failure, strokes,  and kidney failure.
