Fitness Series: Working On Those Stubborn Parts

(ChattahBox) — Most everyone has that part of their body that they just don’t like. Which part or parts is it for you? The jiggly thighs and butt? Upper arms waving in the wind? Cellulite? Stubborn abdominal fat?  And then there is proportion and symmetry. Do you wish that you could add some muscle here and subtract some fat there to give you the shape you’ve always wanted?

This is the first in a series of articles that will help to target the pieces and parts that you really want to improve with lots of helpful tips on how to improve them with exercise and nutrition. I’m looking forward to your questions and comments or email and I will answer you as quickly as I can so that you have the tools to create your dream body.

A little bit about me – I’ve been a body builder since 1978. More recently, I’m holistic about how I live my life. My purpose is to feel fabulous so that I can enjoy my life to the utmost and have the energy to give something back. I’ve been fitness and nutrition certified and I have coached and trained many people to accomplish their fitness goals. I believe that being fit is way more than “diet and exercise”. It’s more than a “lifestyle” and all of the other buzz-words out there. It’s a mindset that requires you to make a decision day-by-day and hour-by-hour to choose how you want to live your healthiest, most energetic life.

    Most women struggle with stubborn fat in the lower body, love handles, muffin top, thunder thighs and saddlebags. Resistance training is great, but cardio is essential in order to reduce body fat percentage. Unlike men, in women the first place the fat is stored, tends to be the last place the fat comes off.
