The study shows they are far from green.

Their initial findings were that all three major gaming consoles are fully compliant with the European Union’s regulations for safety.

What they later found though was that all of the consoles included toxic chemicals such as bromine, phthalates, and beryllium.

This does not pose a health risk to those playing or those living with a console in their home, but does pose a risk to someone who has to work on the console with their hands, taking it apart for repair, etc.

Greenpeace wants the companies to go more green, as they believe there are better alternatives than using these chemicals in the consoles.
