The rocket launch was attempted on Saturday night, as the two-stage Falcon 1 rocket tried to blast off.

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk stated that the rocket was carrying three satellites for NASA and the Department of Defense.

Unfortunately though, the Falcon 1 ran into problems two minutes into the launch, and was not able to progress.

The strange aspect of this is that all seemed good prior to the launch, as an investigation into the mishap is ongoing.

The hope is that SpaceX will turn into a powerful space delivery and transportation company.
