NASA has announced plans for their 2013 mission to Mars.....Washington (ChattahBox) – NASA has announced plans for their 2013 mission to Mars.

NASA has finally unveiled some new information about there future plans to explore the red planet.

Their future plans revolve heavily around the upcoming Mars Scout 2013 mission.

NASA has made the decision to go with the Mars Atmosphere and Volatile EvolutioN, also known as MAVEN, for the mission.

MAVEN is going to have some big tasks on the red planet, as it is going to answer many major scientific questions.

A lot of these questions revolve around the atmosphere of Mars, its chemical make-up and more.

The launch is set for 2013 with a price tag on the mission of $485 million.
