A new study released by the International Union for Conservation of Nature has revealed that 25% of all species on Earth face extinction.Washington (ChattahBox) – A new study released by the International Union for Conservation of Nature has revealed that 25% of all species on Earth face extinction.

There are a total of 5,487 known mammal species on Earth.

Out of those, there are 1,141 who may be extinct in a matter of years.

In the decades to come, these species are likely going to begin to disappear unless things change.

There are 29 known species who are believed to possibly be extinct, with 188 very close to being extinct.

This is due to ecosystems being demolished, among other things.
