NASA Ready To Launch Next Mission to Mars In 2009

NASA is ready to launch their next mission to Mars in October 2009....Washington (ChattahBox) – NASA is ready to launch their next mission to Mars in October 2009.

The director of Mars exploration for NASA, Doug McCuistion, announced the news last Friday.

In October 2009, NASA has sttaed that they plan to launch the MSL, known as the Mars Science Laboratory.

The $2 billion spacecraft is being built by NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

It is expected that the spacecraft will reach Mars by the year 2010, to continue the work started by other rovers such as the Spirit, Opportunity, and Phoenix.
