Olympic gold medalist Antonio Pettigrew has come out and admitted that he has used performance-enhancing drugs...Washington (ChattahBox) – Olympic gold medalist Antonio Pettigrew has come out and admitted that he has used performance-enhancing drugs.

He admitted this fact when he testified in the government case against Trevor Graham. This is the first time he has come out and admitted this, as the former sprinter denied all illegal drug use in the past.

He admitted in his testimony that Graham urged him to use human growth hormones and other performance-enhancing drugs between 1997 and 2001. He was also hooked up with a steroid dealer known as Angel “Memo” Heredia.

This could cost him his gold medal he won at the 2000 Sydney Games in the 4X400 relay for the U.S.
