June 25, 2008

NFL star Adam Hollywood (ChattahBox) – NFL star Adam “Pacman” Jones has come out and responded to a “racist” comment made toward him by radio personality Don Imus. Pacman stated that he is praying for Imus.

Don Imus, just months after making a racist comment towards the Rutgers womens’ basketball team, asked on Monday about Jones’ color following him talking about how he was arrested 6 times.

Adam “Pacman” Jones has responded and spoke to the Dallas Morning News on Monday.

He stated “I’m truly upset about the comments. Obviously, Mr. Imus has problems with African Americans. I’m upset, and I hope the station he works for handles it accordingly. I will pray for him.”

Imus tried to defend himself on Tuesday, stating that he was misunderstood.

He stated that he meant to try and show how blacks are unfairly treated in the U.S. “I mean, there’s no reason to arrest this kid six times,” he exclaimed on his show.
