Lakers in the NBA Finals. They aren’t resting though, as Danny Ainge has gone out and pulled off another very impressive NBA Draft.

The Boston Celtics had the 30th overall pick in the first-round, and selected former University of New Mexico star J.R. Giddens, a 6-foot-5 guard.

The Celtics took a bit of a chance with Giddens as he has had growth and maturity issues in the past, but Danny Ainge seemed extremely confident.

Up next for The Celtics was to take Kansas State sophomore forward Billy Walker from the Washington Wizards. All the Celtics had to do to get him was to give them some cash.

Walker had a torn ACL and needed surgery into his freshmen season, and is already being compared to the great story of Leon Powe.

For their last pick, Ainge went with a 21-year old center from Turkey named Semih Erden.

From here, the Celtics build further as they still need to make decisions on the likes of Eddie House, and James Posey.

One thing is clear, the NBA Champions are not just resting with what they have, they are already looking forward to training camp.
