Brett Favre tests arm for Vikings offensive coordinator

July 13, 2009

(ChattahBox) — Vikings offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell evaluated Brett Favre in Hattiesburg, Miss., last week in a “rigorous” throwing session that included roughly 100 passes, according to ESPN’s Ed Werder.

Favre reportedly was encouraged by his session, but it appears the former Green Bay star still isn’t totally confident in his recovering shoulder.  He is reportedly worried about some “slight pain” and inconsistency in his throws.

Minnesota goes into mini-camp on July 29, and sources claim Favre must give the franchise his decision before then

The Vikings would strongly prefer Favre to make a decision on his return before Vikings tickets go on sale on July 20.
