Vince Young Accused Of Assault On Man In Strip Club

June 14, 2010

Texas (ChattahBox) – Vince Young is accused of assaulting a man in a strip club after he ‘disrespected’ the University of Texas Longhorns, in what might be the most ridiculous and petty fight from an NFL player this year.

The Titans player was apparently angered when a 45-year-old Club Onyx employee named Creiton Kinchen, originally from Oklahoma, made some negative comments about the college football team.

The two exchanged words, and a security camera cause Kinchen flashing an upside-down Longhorns symbol – a Hook ’em sign – at Young.

The camera then caught Young punching Kinchen in the face.

Kinchen’s injuries were minor, and he suffered a cut lip.

Young now faces a $500 fine, but the consequences from the league might be more severe. Or, so we can hope.

Young will get a slap on the wrist. College football, like pro sports, is Big Business, and as long as the player isn’t actually caught red-handed killing the President of the US, he can do anything he pleases. Oregon proved that with LaMichael James, Jeremiah Masoli, and LeGarrette Blount.

The only thing that will keep the college from putting the criminal back on the field is prison time.

And we wonder why kids today think thugs and gangsters are “cool.”
