Nintendo is set to get gamers in the U.S. toned and in shape starting Monday when they launch Wii Fit. ..New York (ChattahBox) – Nintendo is set to get gamers in the U.S. toned and in shape starting Monday when they launch Wii Fit.

Wii Fit is priced at $89.99 and comes with the game, along with the new Balance Board controller for the Nintendo Wii, which has pressure points that track your BMI, weight, training, and more.

In Europe and Japan, Wii Fit has sold more than 1.5 million copies, with pre-orders in the U.S. virtually selling out the first shipment of the game.

Wii Fit will feature over 40 activities, with everything from weight training, balance games, yoga, and much more.

Wii Fit allows up to 8 people to track their progress on how they are doing in the game, and also adds the Wii Fit Channel to the Wii.

This means that you can check your daily progress without even putting the game into the Nintendo console.

The expectation is that Wii Fit will be a major success in the U.S., just as it was in Europe and Japan.
