Advanced Micro Devices is hoping to attract some new PC gamers from the casual gaming market with the new marketing label, AMD Game!..Boston (ChattahBox) – Advanced Micro Devices is hoping to attract some new PC gamers from the casual gaming market with the new marketing label, AMD Game!

The goal of AMD Game! is to introduce casual PC and console gamers to gaming PCs which are both affordable, and powerful enough to run just about any game currently on the market.

This label will be placed on certain PCs to alert consumers that it can run PC games if they desire. These PCs need to meet requirements to be allowed to be a part of the AMD Game! line.

The requirements to be considered an AMD Game! system include having a dual-core Athlon 5600 processor, ATI Radeon HD 3650 graphics, and an AMD 770 chip-set or Nvidia nForce 500 series chip-set.  This will expand with their upcoming Phenom CPU.

Phase one is to launch AMD Game! with computer makers Alienware, and Velocity Micro.

They will expand AMD Game! from here to PCs commonly seen in retail stores such as Best Buy and other locations.
