Joseph Lieberman, chairman of Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, has sent a letter to Google, asking them to remove any terrorist-related videos from YouTube.

Lieberman states that it is the duty of Google to help protect the United States by removing these terrorist videos from YouTube.

The videos are put up by groups such as Al-Qaeda, and are used for propaganda, as well as training of new terrorist recruits.

Lieberman believes that these videos pose a major threat to the U.S. and only help the terrorists.

YouTube has only stated thus far that the best way to monitor videos is to have users flag those that they see as inappropriate.
