Netflix Streams Movies To Your TV With Roku

Netflix has signed a deal with start-up company Roku to bring streaming movies to the TVs of Netflix subscribers.Dallas (ChattahBox) – Netflix has signed a deal with start-up company Roku to bring streaming movies to the TVs of Netflix subscribers.

Roku has been signed by Netflix to create a set-top box which will allow for DVD-quality movies to be streamed straight to the TV of Netflix subscribers.

The new service is called “Watch instantly” with the set-top box expeced to be priced at around $99.

This wil give Netflix the chance to compete with Apple TV, and other on-demand services from cable operators and such.

To start out, 10,000 movies available as part of the service, but that will likely expand quickly over time.
