The new redesign is set to make Facebook load faster, and look far less cluttered and messy.

The new design for Facebook introduces a tabbed layout which places the most attention to feeds, new pictures posted, and messages.

Things such as the mini-applications and other information are going to be grouped into tabs which will make the profile pages look far neater.

In a matter of only a few weeks, 70 million Facebook users will have the chance to enable the redesigned profile pages, and take part in the beta test of the redesign.

From there, Facebook is going to take user feedback into account before officially launching the redesign for all users.
