Researchers from Core Security have stated that Apple has failed fix bugs known in the iCal scheduling application..Washington (ChattahBox) – Researchers from Core Security have stated that Apple has failed fix bugs known in the iCal scheduling application.

Core Security researchers have stated that Apple has known of these three major flaws for quite some time. The bugs focus on memory corruption, which can allow hackers to inject code into systems.

The flaws also involve the null-pointer, which could cause the iCal application to simply crash.

The versions impacted by the bugs include the older Apple iCal 3.01 and 3.02, which is the current version.

There has yet to be a response from Apple on the matter.
