Phoenix Lander Ready To Cook Some Mars Soil

The NASA Phoenix Mars Lander is no longer having trouble with the soil on Mars as it has managed to fill one of its eight ovens with soil to be analyzed..Washington (ChattahBox) – The NASA Phoenix Mars Lander is no longer having trouble with the soil on Mars as it has managed to fill one of its eight ovens with soil to be analyzed.

Phoenix was having trouble getting the soil into the ovens for analyzing due to the fact that the soil on Mars was extremely lumpy.

Scientsts at NASA decided to try a vibration technique which ended up being the right move.

There are 8 of these ovens on the Phoenix Mars Lander in total, with one now filled.

They will now analyze the soil to check for signs of any organisms and such.
