eBay Opens Up Developer’s Platform, Selling Manager

EBay has decided to open up the developer's platform a bit more to allow companies.  It has opened up the Selling Manager software to third-party developersBoston (ChattahBox) – EBay has decided to open up the developer’s platform a bit more to allow companies. It has opened up the Selling Manager software to third-party developers.

What this is going to allow is for developers to build applications for the Selling Manager program. The official announcement is due at the annual eBay Developers Conference in Chicago on Monday.

Selling Manager has 700,000 users and allows them to manage their sales listings on the eBay site.

More information is needed to be released in regards to the new eBay program such as the revenue sharing between the developers and the company.

The idea behind it is to push the scale of the businesses of sellers.
