Apple and AT&T have put an end to a lawsuit filed by Klausner Technology, which involved the visual voicemail technology used in the iPhone....New York (ChattahBox) – Apple and AT&T have put an end to a lawsuit filed by Klausner Technology, which involved the visual voicemail technology used in the iPhone.

The lawsuit was filed in December 2007, and stated that Klausner owned the patent for the visual voicemail technology.

The company demanded a sum of $360 million in the lawsuit from Apple and AT&T.

Klausner Technology cited two U.S. patents in the lawsuit, also naming Comcast, Cablevision, and Skype as guilty of the same crime. They are seeking $300 million each from those companies.

Apple has licensed the technology, though no financial details were released.
