Spam King Ordered To Pay MySpace Sum Of $6 Million

TheThe Spam King, Scott Richter, and his marketing company Media Breakway LLC have been ordered to pay MySpace $6 million.<br /> .Boston (ChattahBox) – The Spam King, Scott Richter, and his marketing company Media Breakway LLC have been ordered to pay MySpace $6 million.

The Spam King, along with his company, was accused of spamming MySpace users to get them to go to an advertising site.

The spamming sent invites to users on MySpace from their friends to visit the advertising site.

Total damages were calculated to be at $4.8 million, with $1.2 million being in trial fees.

The $6 million is is far less though than what MySpace originally sought, which was $230 million.
