Google has unveiled a new tool called Ad Planner to help companies measure Internet usage, and help with the planning of online ad campaigns....Boston (ChattahBox) – Google has unveiled a new tool called Ad Planner to help companies measure Internet usage, and help with the planning of online ad campaigns.

Google is heading into a market dominated by the likes of comScore as well as Nielsen Online. The idea is to provide information on Internet usage to help out advertisers in planning an ad campaign.

The new service is going to help advertisers figure out where to put ads online.

The new tool is free and available for invitation only. It is called Ad Planner.

The idea is to get down to the nitty gritty details with demographics, searches on sites, etc. to get the best possible stats to plan out a campaign.
