Diablo is one of the most popular action RPG franchises of all time, and represents another major release for Blizzard in the near future.

This will be the first release into the Diablo franchise in 8 years, when Diablo II launched.

Fans were treated at the opening ceremony to the theme music of Diablo, right before the announcement was made.

The game features a customized version of the Havok physics engine, and the multiplayer will run off of Battle.net. There is no word yet on an exact release date, but it will launch simultaneously on the PC and Mac worldwide.

the game play trailer looks good. but the “mouse-over objects” is hard to detect. example: there are no difference in graphic when the mouse is over the object. anyway, this is a new game. maybe it uses a more attractive gameplay feature. hope to see enjoy this game soon.
