Apple Files Lawsuit Against Maker Of Mac Clones, Psystar

Apple Inc. has sued the maker of Mac clones, Psystar.Boston (ChattahBox) – Apple Inc. has sued the maker of Mac clones, Psystar.

The company wants a federal court to order the small computer maker to recall all systems it has sold to date.

Apple has charged the company in a 16-page lawsuit with multiple copyright, trademark, as well as breact-of-contract violations.

The violations come as Psystar sold computers which were pre-installed with Mac OS X, among other things.

Apple has made it clear that they never authorized Psystar to install, use, or sell any Mac OS, especially Leopard on both desktop and server systems.

Apple wants machines already sold recalled, and is also seeking any profits made by the company from selling computers with Leopard.
