Cable operators united to fight online child pornography.....Washington (ChattahBox) – Cable operators united to fight online child pornography.

The cable operators who have come together make up nearly 90% of residents in the U.S. who have broadband.

The National Cable and Telecommunications Association will be going above and beyond filtering software, working with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to clean up the Internet.

From this point forward, the new program will result in shutting down any site hosted by the operators, stopping predators from storing and sharing these explicit images.

The program will begin within 30 days.
