Google is making some headlines today with the announcement of the beta release of their Google Chrome browser, to compete with Microsoft Internet Explorer, and Mozilla Firefox.......Boston (ChattahBox) – Google is making some headlines today with the announcement of the beta release of their Google Chrome browser, to compete with Microsoft Internet Explorer, and Mozilla Firefox.

Google has confirmed that their first Web browser was going to be made available to users starting today.

It is going to be released in beta form for the Windows platform only to start.

Google has touted the new browser as being far faster and more reliable than anything else released.

It has some nice new features it is adding to the Web browser scene, giving each tab its own process so if one crashes, the rest stay going.

Iti also runs on the new V8 JavaScript engine.

Other notable features include an auto-suggest function, full-text search functionality, and much more.

Google Chrome hopes to compete with Firefox and IE, and is looking good so far.
