Research In Motion (RIM) has gone flippy, as they have announced the very first BlackBerry flip-phone......Washington (ChattahBox) – Research In Motion (RIM) has gone flippy, as they have announced the very first BlackBerry flip-phone.

The BlackBerry has gotten a makeover, as the new BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 will be the first BlackBerry flip-phone ever released.

The new BlackBerry is not going to be short on any features by any means.

The new phone is going to feature an external LCD for e-mails, text messages, phone calls, etc., and on top of that will have a larger screen and QWERTY keyboard inside.

The phone is quad-band and will work on GSM networks in Europe, Asia, Americas, etc.

The device will be available through T-Mobile this year, and will also ship with stereo headphones, and media player software.
