A new survey has revealed that many employers in the U.S. now use social networking sites to look into the lives of potential employees.Boston (ChattahBox) – A new survey has revealed that many employers in the U.S. now use social networking sites to look into the lives of potential employees.

The survey was carried out by CareerBuilder.com, an online job site, and was conducted by talking with 3,169 hiring managers.

The survey found that 22% of the hiring managers used social networking sites to look into potential future employers, and another 9% planned to begin using them very soon.

The social networking sites were used to look into the lives of their potential future employees.

This data would reveal to them info on their personal life, drinking, drugs, etc.

34% of these hiring managers who used social networking sites decided to not hire the people they looked into on the sites.
